I love being a missionary.
I have been thinking lately about how to
touch the hearts of these people and find those who are ready for the gospel. I
am not going to lie, it is pretty hard here. Everyone pray for the hearts of
the Norwegian people to be softened and have them accept the gospel! They are
wonderful great people. They just think they don't need God- and that is the
biggest lie of all time because we all need him. a LOT.
I have come to
be inexpressibly grateful for the gift of repentance and atonement
lately. I know that through Jesus Christ, not only our behavior, but our
very natures can be changed and purified. This knowledge and the experiences I
have with that have become very precious to me, and fuels my desire to share
that with others. This gospel works! I gotta tell everyone about it!
I must give a
shoutout to my ward here. They are so faithful. Norwegians that have and
treasure the gospel = my heroes. We had a Musikk Kveld (music night)
on Friday, and wow was that interesting! they did a whole bunch of lip
syncing to different popular songs of the decades. "they" is
comprised of a bunch of older people in my ward. it was very interesting. I
love these people though!
This week we saw the Northern lights! They
were brilliant! WAY better than last time. different colors and everything.
They were literally dancing across the sky!
One more
thing. We found a very cute Burmese lady on the street and met with
her and her husband last night. There is a huge language barrier, but they
are so sweet and I think truly ready for this gospel.
The Church is true. God lives. I love
Trondheim. and I am pretty sure I'll be transferred next week.
love,
Søster Williams
Also this pic is one of our former
investigators who came to the music night. Wisam!
